Abstract: The book 2052: A Global Forecast for the Next Forty Years written by Professor Jorgen Randers was completed in 2012. It has been 11 years so far, and there are still 29 years to the future described in this book. It is of great significance when this book was revised and republished in April 2023. This book is known as an upgraded version of The Limits to Growth. As a book of in-depth reflection on human desires and earth resources, climate and ecological balance, and economic growth and great power competition, Dr. ZHOU Jinfeng, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), was invited to write a preface for it, in the hope that the majority of readers in China can deeply understand the significance of the era of ecological civilization construction through reading this book, and gain more benefits and the power of actions.
