The mute swan breeding reserve on the Jalu River officially established in Zhengzhou, Henan Province

Abstract:

The mute swan, which is listed as a second-class national protected wild animal, found its home in the Jalu River in 2020 and has lived and multiplied with the care and protection by the local volunteers. However, the swans’ habitat is under threat due to reduced water flow and water pollution. The establishment of the "Jalu River Breeding Site for the mute swan in Zhengzhou, China" has encouraged more people to join the protection campaign for the mute swan.
