Interpretation of CITES "non-hazard Determination"

Abstract:

Non-hazard assessment plays an important role in the trade and protection of endangered species. The Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora （CITES ）( requires a non-hazard determination before any trade permit can be issued.
