Abstract:

The International Department of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation, a member of the IUCN, noted that the report pointed to a 40% increase in number of tigers living in the wild since the last tiger assessment in 2015. On July 21, 2022, the IUCN's newly updated Red List of Threatened Species shows that between 3,726 and 5,578 tigers are now living in the wild worldwide.
