Vulnerability in drylands can be addressed through specific strategies. The impacts of climate change are enormous, especially because of land degradation and changes in rainfall patterns, threatening water, and food security in drylands. In addition to reducing carbon emissions, there is a need to protect ecosystems in dry regions and to tackle climate change sustainably.
