Jean Claude Knebeler: International cooperation’s role in global environmental governance

Abstract:

In the opening ceremony, Jean Claude Knebeler addressed the importance of drylands areas. He proposed that international cooperation is the key to get more people involved in global environmental governance, which will also help with proposing biodiversity conservation and climate issue of drylands into the Post 2020 Global Biodiversity Framework.
