CBCGDF Holds Conference to Solicit Proposals and Suggestions for 2022 “Two Sessions”, Pushing to Solve Hot Issues in Eco-environment Protection

Abstract:

On January 21, China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation successfully hosted an offline/online conference to solicit proposal and suggestions for the 2022 “Two Sessions” (NPC and CPPCC). More than 10 deputies and members of the National People's Congress were invited to attend the meeting online, and nearly 70 proposals were collected. Up to the opening of the 2022 National People's Congress, a total of 19 proposals were favored by the deputies and members.

For six consecutive years since 2016, CBCGDF's Working Group on Proposals for the

"Two Sessions" has collected suggestions from a wide range of public and held meetings for this purpose. Up to now, more than 200 suggestions collected were approved and guided by deputies and members, and about 50 have been submitted in the form of bills, proposals or social opinion.
