【荐读】Preface of Post Growth Life After Capitalism

Abstract:

Zhou Jinfeng, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation wrote in the preface of the book Post Growth Life After Capitalism that the book makes us have a deeper understanding of “the situation of the mankind”, where there is more and more diseases, more severe floods and mountain fires, record-breaking extreme disasters, and so on.   Such things are happening more frequently and taking the lives and health of more people. This is a warning from the earth that the human society has veered off the right direction. But I remain optimistic to the future. After reading this book, I feel that my optimistic views echoe on that of the author, and that I become more confident to deal with the troubles arising from the current industrial civilization.
