【观点】Healthy Mountain Pastures are key to Protecting Snow Leopards

Abstract:

Sitting on the top of the food chain in the alpine ecosystem, snow leopards play a key role for maintaining the mountain ecosystem. However, overgrazing, illegal hunting, mining and other human activities are still the major threats to snow leopard population.   In addition, climate change is also posing a serious threat to the snow leopards. Tackling climate change, protect snow leopards and their habitats are crucial to restore and maintain the balance of mountain ecosystem.
