Thoughts on the modernization of harmony between man and nature

Abstract: The report of the Twentieth National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) clearly pointed out that “Chinese-style modernisation is the modernisation of harmonious coexistence between human beings and nature”, and put the modernization of “harmony between humanity and nature” in a prominent position, enriching the profound connotation of Chinese modernization. Harmonious coexistence of man and nature, characterized with Marxist philosophical implications, is CPC’s practical exploration and sublimation of understanding of Chinese modernization. This article discusses the internal logic of modernization of harmonious coexistence between human beings and nature from the below three aspects: It has distinctive Chinese characteristics and characteristics of the times; it is based on practice, and adheres to the people-centred approach.
