Abstract: This article aims to explore the relationship between the green industry taxonomy and practice in the context of ecological civilization construction, focusing on analyzing the inevitability of ecological civilization and green development, and warning against ecologically damaging practices in the name of “ecological engineering”. Meanwhile, this article explores the dangers of “greenwashing” using green industry taxonomy and other means, and calls on humans to pay attention to protecting biodiversity while achieving sustainable economic development. The article selects some specific cases for analysis and explains the relationship between ecological civilization and development and construction at a different angle, aiming to provide some reference for building a long-term sustainable ecological economic system.
