Abstract: For more than 30 years, Tim Jackson has been studying the moral, economic, and social dimensions of prosperity. Prosperity without Growth, one of Tim Jackson’s landmark books, has been translated into 17 languages and is a best-seller all over the world. In June 2023, Prosperity without Growth, translated by DING Jinfeng and ZHU Dajian, was republished by the China Translation & Publishing House. ZHOU Jinfeng, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation, was invited to write the preface for this book. As practitioners of the new civilization, we can absorb new knowledge from this book, so as to pave the way for building a prosperous future based on sustainability.
