About CBCGDF
China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) is a national public welfare and public fundraising foundation approved by the State Council of the People’s Republic of China. It is also one of the first 16 charitable organizations in China to be recognized for public fundraising qualifications since the implementation of the Charity Law which went into force on September 1, 2016.
In 1985, in order to welcome the return of China’s endemic species of milu deers, China Milu Foundation was established. After unremitting efforts, the milu deers were able to return to nature. The internationally recognized Chinese Milu Reintroduction Project is the most successful example of species reintroduction in the world. With China’s joining the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) in 1992 and CBCGDF’s Founding Chairman HU Deping’s emphasis on the importance of green development in 2009, China Milu Foundation changed its name twice to its current name China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation with the approval of the State Council.
In addition, the Expert Committee composed of more than ten academicians and nearly one hundred experts also provided scientific guidance and suggestions for CBCGDF’s work, and achieved a series of major achievements in scientific and technological innovation, scientific research, international exchanges, etc.
Requirements for entry into the CBCGDF Postdoctoral Research Station:
1. You have good ideological and political qualities, firm political stance, strong organizational discipline, good work style and good conduct;
2. You are aged under 35 years old. For those under 40 years old, they can also enter the station with the consent of CBCGDF;
3. You have obtained a doctoral degree with and the obtaining time generally no more than 3 years. Fresh doctoral graduates can enter the station first, and the certificate must be obtained within six months. Foreign academic qualifications must be certified, and domestic academic qualifications must be available on the Center for Student Services and Development, Ministry of Education, P.R. China (CSSD);
4. You need to comply with the management system of CBCGDF’s postdoctoral research station;
5. Your research fields are ecological civilization, biodiversity, green development, dual carbon, ESG and climate change;
6. The in-service personnel of directional appointment training and the applicant that in the status of active military personnel shall be off-duty when engaged in postdoctoral research, and the leading cadres of party and government organs shall not be engaged in post-doctoral research;
7. You need to have a high sense of responsibility, work conscientiously and meticulously, and be good at communication;
8. Your salary is negotiable.
